And then there is this lovely taverna "Kandilas" just next to the road as we head North from Orchomenos. There is no menu - the waiter tells you (in Greek) what they have today - but the food is simply fantastic. Salad, beetroot, beans, and I had kid with a light flavour of cinnamon. Delicious eating in a romantic, quiet place under a huge tree.
